I spent Wellington Anniversary in the Wairarapa with tours over the Rimutakas on both the Saturday and Monday. Saturday was spent with two Canadian sister’s and their Australian and Canadian husbands, lunching at Lake Ferry, before visiting the Cape Palliser lighthouse and the local seal colony. Monday was spent with Gavin from Sheffield who had been on a NZ wide Lord of the Ring’s tour. The tour didn’t take him to the Pinnacles on the Wairarapa coast so I took him their instead.
